Privacy Policy — Narratiq

Narratiq ("we", "us", or "our") operates getnarratiq.com and the Narratiq platform. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it. We aim to be straightforward — if something is unclear, email us at hello@getnarratiq.com.

1. Data we collect

Waitlist sign-ups

When you join our waitlist, we collect your email address. We use this solely to notify you about the Narratiq launch and related product updates. We do not sell or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Account information

When you create an account (once the product launches), we collect your name, email address, and optionally your company name. This information is used to operate your account and provide the service.

Assessment and report data

If you use Narratiq to run assessments, the data your clients submit through assessment forms is processed on your behalf. You are the data controller for your clients' data; we process it as a data processor under your instructions.

Usage data

We collect standard web analytics (pages visited, browser type, referring URL) to understand how the product is used and improve it. This data is aggregated and not linked to identifiable individuals.

2. How we use your data

To operate and improve the Narratiq platform
To send transactional emails (account confirmations, password resets, product updates)
To notify waitlist members of the product launch
To respond to support requests
To comply with legal obligations

We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to data brokers.

3. Third-party services

We use a limited set of third-party services to operate Narratiq:

Loops.so — email delivery for waitlist and transactional emails
Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and DDoS protection
Anthropic Claude API — AI-generated report narratives (report content only, no PII)

Each provider is bound by their own privacy policy and, where applicable, a data processing agreement with us.

4. Data retention

Waitlist emails are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 30 days after cancellation, at which point it is permanently deleted. You can request earlier deletion at any time.

5. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@getnarratiq.com. We respond within 30 days.

6. Cookies

Our marketing site uses no tracking cookies. The application may use session cookies strictly necessary for authentication. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

7. Children

Narratiq is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify active users of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
